Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luna Atari (ranked 4635 p4p, 177 weight class) and Arnold Jordan (ranked 8178 p4p, 242 weight class). Arnold Jordan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arnold Jordan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atari scores with a jab to the jaw.
Jordan lands with a hook. Atari tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jordan has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Jordan misses the jab.
Atari uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jordan.
Atari waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jordan.
Jordan throws a lazy right hand but Atari sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Atari swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Jordan looks to land a left hand but Atari moved out of range nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Atari slips under a jab.
Jordan throws a jab when Atari was well out of range.
It looked like Atari wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Atari jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Jordan misses with a straight left.
Jordan slips under a jab.
Jordan misses with a right hand

and Atari moves into the clinch.
Jordan tries to work over Atari's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Atari lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Atari is stalling here.
Jordan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Atari backwards.

Jordan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Atari moves forwards but Jordan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jordan lands a jab to the head.
Jordan misses with the combination.
It looked like Atari was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jordan.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Atari uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jordan.
It looked like Atari wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Jordan throws a lazy uppercut
and Atari cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jordan throws a jab but it's blocked by Atari.

Jordan cracks Atari with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Atari looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Jordan finish him?

Atari is rocked!
Jordan is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Atari flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Atari is out cold! Jordan holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

A very excited looking Arnold Jordan rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
