The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Builder.
Pitts takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Builder working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Builder wants to control but Pitts is keeping him busy.
Builder has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Builder is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pitts is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Pitts is trying to control Builder's posture but Builder avoids it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pitts wants to improve his position but Builder is controlling well.
Pitts on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Builder is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pitts is just riding it out for now. Builder eventually gives up the hold.
Pitts tries to roll over but Builder keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Builder passes to full mount!
Pitts is bucking up trying to escape but Builder cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Builder decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pitts, up you get!

Builder fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pitts sprawls well initially but Builder persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Builder is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Pitts!
Pitts is looking to improve his position but Builder isn't that keen on the idea.

Builder goes for an armbar but Pitts turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Pitts.
Builder is breathing heavily.
Pitts postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Builder has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pitts off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Pitts fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Builder to the ground. Pitts is now in Builder's guard.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pitts throws an elbow that misses. Builder uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pitts's guard. Nice move by Builder!

Builder is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Pitts sees it coming and defends easily.

Builder is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pitts has managed to free his arm - good work.

Pitts has momentary wrist control but Builder slips an elbow through the middle.

Builder decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Pitts throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Builder closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Pitts's guard.

Pitts kicks Builder off and gets to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob Builder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Builder holds on and takes a little breather.

Builder tries to free his leg and advance position but Pitts is retaining full guard.

Pitts has his foot on Builder's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Builder works his way back into a safe position though.

Builder unleashes a big counter combination but Pitts bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Builder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Pitts is looking to reverse the position.

Builder is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Pitts knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
