The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapman lands a big head kick that sends Beasley tumbling to the mat! Sapman takes a step backwards and waves Beasley back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Beasley is rocked!
It looks like Danial Beasley has been cut.
Sapman explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Oh Beasley is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sapman shoots in and bounces Beasley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sapman passes into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sapman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sapman lands a big elbow - Beasley is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Sapman!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Sapman!
A relieved looking David Sapman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
