The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorde misses with a straight right.
Gatmaitan moves out of range as Lorde strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Lorde. Those never looked like landing.
Gatmaitan now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Nice shot lands for Gatmaitan.
We've been told by Lorde's head coaches at Tycoon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lorde tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Gatmaitan paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lorde connects with a body shot that sends Gatmaitan's belly button to the back.
Gatmaitan lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Lorde pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gatmaitan throws out a counter right but Lorde avoids it with no problem.
Lorde throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lorde takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Gatmaitan lands a head shot.
Lorde takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lorde really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Lorde scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Lorde misses with a hook
and Gatmaitan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gatmaitan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
As Gatmaitan looks to move away, Lorde throws a big counter combo but Gatmaitan just gets out of the way.
Lorde throws a hook but Gatmaitan blocks it.
Lorde is breathing heavily.
Gatmaitan throws a nice inside leg kick.
Gatmaitan scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Lorde gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Lorde pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gatmaitan let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Lorde has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gatmaitan.
Decent striking displayed by Gatmaitan there.
Lorde takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lorde shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Lorde on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Emanuel Lorde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lorde walks into a stiff left hand from Gatmaitan.
Lorde gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gatmaitan.
A punch lands to the side of Lorde 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Lorde has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gatmaitan.

Gatmaitan connects with a single shot there.

Lorde is rocked!
Gatmaitan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lorde looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Oh Lorde is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gatmaitan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lorde's head backwards.
Gatmaitan cracks Lorde with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Lorde falls to his knees and Gatmaitan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
