The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wyatt in his tracks.
Monroe throws a looping overhand right but Wyatt ducks down to avoid it.
Wyatt moves out of range of the strikes.
Monroe cracks Wyatt with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Wyatt gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Wyatt moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Monroe misses with a looping right.
Wyatt seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A swing and a miss from Monroe.
Monroe rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Wyatt counters with a two punch combo.
Nice uppercut lands for Monroe. That snapped Wyatt's head back.

Wyatt is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Monroe misses with a looping left.

Monroe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Wyatt cracks Monroe with a nice body shot.
Wyatt blocks an uppercut.
Monroe misses with a short punch on the inside.

Wyatt is trying to break the clinch but Monroe is controlling him.
Monroe lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wyatt backwards.

Wyatt is trying to push Monroe away but Monroe has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Wyatt blocks a body shot from Monroe.
Monroe has Wyatt pushed against the cage.
Wyatt blocking some punches.
Wyatt wants to get back to striking at distance but Monroe won't allow it.
Monroe pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Monroe tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wyatt's elbow.

Wyatt escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Monroe misses with a body shot.
Monroe misses with a straight left.

Dan Monroe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Monroe throws a lazy uppercut
letting Wyatt counter with a right hand.
Wyatt keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

and Wyatt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Monroe keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A big right from Monroe misses.
Wyatt went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wyatt swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Monroe rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wyatt moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Monroe pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wyatt back to the cage. Monroe follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Monroe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Monroe tries to clinch up
and Wyatt counters with a big right hand! Oh Monroe is in trouble here! Wyatt follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
