Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arn Anderson (ranked 145 p4p, 6 weight class) and Massive Overflow (ranked 594 p4p, 32 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck-by ACDC. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Arn Anderson!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Massive Overflow!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Francis DeMontford and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries for a takedown but Overflow circles away easily
and Overflow connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Anderson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anderson lands in his opponent's guard.
Anderson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Overflow keeping moving, preventing Anderson from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anderson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Overflow is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Anderson, into his guard.

Anderson has control of Overflow's left arm, preventing Overflow from doing any damage.

Overflow is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Anderson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Overflow defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Overflow can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Overflow must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Overflow controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Overflow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Anderson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Anderson working for submissions but it's allowed Overflow to get to half guard.
Anderson wants to improve his position but Overflow is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, if Overflow is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Overflow has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Overflow looks to score with a jab to the body but Anderson is just out of range.
Anderson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Overflow sprawls and moves away.
Anderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Overflow counters with a nice uppercut.
Anderson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Overflow counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arn Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Overflow avoids it really well and circles away.
Arn Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Anderson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Overflow counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Massive Overflow dominated that round.

Overflow misses with an uppercut.
Overflow has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Overflow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderson manages to avoid it.
Anderson throws an off balance right hand
and Overflow makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Overflow counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Overflow counters with a huge right that knocks Anderson out cold! Overflow is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
