PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zyd Xydddddd (ranked 4956 p4p, 187 weight class) and Stud Toddler (ranked 3170 p4p, 101 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Stud Toddler!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xydddddd lands a big head kick that sends Toddler tumbling to the mat! Xydddddd takes a step backwards and waves Toddler back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Xydddddd pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Toddler unleashes a big counter combination but Xydddddd bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Xydddddd throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Xydddddd keeps the fight on the outside.
Xydddddd throws a body shot but no joy.
Toddler blocks a low kick nicely.
Xydddddd moves into range and connects with a jab.
Xydddddd fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Toddler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Xydddddd tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Xydddddd jabs Toddler to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Xydddddd misses with a shot to the body
and Toddler counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Xydddddd smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Xydddddd throws a head kick that half lands.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Xydddddd. Toddler does a little dance to reset his feet.
Xydddddd takes one to the chin there.
Xydddddd throws a sloppy head kick
enabling Toddler to counter with a crisp jab.
Toddler slips under a jab from Xydddddd.
A nice side step and Toddler releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Toddler scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Xydddddd doesn't seem bothered though.
Xydddddd is breathing heavily.
Toddler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Xydddddd.
Xydddddd throws a head kick that misses
and Toddler counters with a nice body shot.
Toddler lands with a good body shot.
Toddler lands a glancing blow to the side of Xydddddd's head.
Xydddddd blocks a jab.
Toddler wants to clinch up but Xydddddd keeps it at a distance.
Toddler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Xydddddd sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Xydddddd is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Xydddddd throws a hook but Toddler blocks it.
As Xydddddd backs off Toddler throws a huge counter combo but Xydddddd manages to avoid it all.
Xydddddd walks straight into a right hand from Toddler - that's dropped him! Toddler jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Xydddddd from any more punishment! Xydddddd complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
