These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a series of punches but Vazquez moves out of range.

It looked like Santos was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Vazquez tries to bum rush Santos with a series of wild strikes but Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Santos thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vazquez if he has to take too many more of those.
