The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carroll on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Crompton. Crompton obviously looking to wear him down.
Crompton shoots in and gets a takedown into Carroll's guard.
Carroll uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Crompton changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Crompton clinches with his opponent.
Crompton tries to land a knee to the head but Carroll blocks with his arms.
Crompton has clasped his hands together around Carroll's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
