The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duncan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ford quickly recovers to half guard.
Ground and pound from Duncan.
Duncan sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ford defending well though.
Ford really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Duncan is working for a submission of some sort.
Duncan throwing shots but Ford is blocking nicely.
Duncan is stalling here. Ford is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Duncan seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Ford has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Duncan wants to control but Ford postures up.
Duncan tries to bench press Ford off him but Ford keeps the position.

Ford stands up.

Ford tries to close the distance and clinch up but Duncan swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Duncan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ford looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Duncan is staying tight to Ford's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Duncan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ford, who protects the arm well.
Ford tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Duncan easily slips into full mount!
Ford is trying to escape the mount.
Duncan postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ford badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Duncan around the waist but Duncan pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Duncan is the winner by TKO! Duncan jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
