Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bain listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
bain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Assis.
bain misses with a looping left.
ross bain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Assis fails with an attempt to clinch.
A punch combination from bain misses.
Assis walks into a left hand.
bain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Assis dodges the punch combination from bain.
bain swinging wilding here.
bain bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Assis's head.
bain goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
bain throws a nice looking combination but Assis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
bain looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Assis will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
bain throws a right hand that Assis ducks under and follows up with a left that Assis also avoids with ease.
Assis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Assis fails to land the takedown.
A combination from bain does no damage.
Assis tries to close the distance and clinch but bain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Assis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Assis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts bain as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Assis. That's going to take a lot out of him.
bain takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
bain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
bain throws a left that rocks Assis and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! bain dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Assis regain composure!
Assis is rocked!
It looks like Thiago Assis has been cut.
bain decides to stand back up. bain steps back and let's Assis get back to his feet.
Oh Assis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Assis slips under a jab.
bain throws a series of punches but Assis avoids them all with ease.
bain misses with a straight left.
bain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Assis circles away quickly and effectively.
bain misses with a hook. Assis ducked under it nicely.
Assis seems to have got his legs back now.
bain misses with a double jab
and Assis counters by clinching up.
bain wants to break the clinch but can't.
bain wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
bain manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Assis or perhaps it was just good defense by bain which made him look bad.
ross bain is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
bain lands with a big right hook that stumbles Assis - he's out on his feet here! bain follows up with another monster hook that separates Assis from consciousness! Assis falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! bain stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
