Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anibal Hogan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kelvin Kirk!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk shoots for a double leg takedown but Hogan sprawls well. He's pushed Kirk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Kirk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kirk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hogan but Hogan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Anibal Hogan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kelvin Kirk.
Kirk looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A punch combination from Hogan misses.
Hogan sets himself, and Kirk steps forward looking for the clinch! Hogan avoids it this time.
Hogan looks to land a combination but Kirk avoids it well.
Anibal Hogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kirk blocks a head kick by Hogan.
Kirk tries to counter with a clinch but Hogan shakes him off and moves away.
Kirk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kirk looks winded!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hogan is defended easily by Kirk.

Kirk shoots in looking for a takedown. Hogan tries to sprawl out of it but Kirk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hogan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hogan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hogan.
Hogan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hogan in side control lands a decent elbow.
Hogan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hogan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Kirk to his feet.
Hogan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hogan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kirk pinned against the cage. Kirk gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hogan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kirk is trying to escape back to his feet but Hogan uses the scramble to pass into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kirk is being controlled here.
Kirk is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hogan connects with a decent elbow.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hogan has hold of Kirk's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Kirk seems comfortable defending it but Hogan has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Kirk is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kirk is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hogan couldn't care less - he's delighted!
