Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Phillips moves into the clinch successfully.

Hebert gets control of Phillips 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hebert will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Phillips drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hebert looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hebert looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hebert!

That was a close round but I would say that Carrol Hebert will probably get the nod.

Hebert is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Phillips can do to turn this around?

Hebert remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Hebert manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Phillips on his heels. He'll look to pass Phillips 's guard now, I'm sure.
Phillips is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hebert got a little sloppy there for a moment and Phillips has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hebert has managed to get both his arms back between Phillips 's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Hebert had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Phillips defends it easily.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hebert, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
