Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamarcus Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolf has chosen Hungry Like the Wolf - Duran Duran as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Wolf closes the distance and clinches.
Wolf goes for a takedown attempt but Johnson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Wolf must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Johnson is looking for a sweep. Wolf is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wolf seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wolf misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wolf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

It looks like Adam Wolf has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Wolf.
Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Wolf counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Wolf is trying to control. Johnson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Johnson manages to get to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Johnson is on top in guard.

Johnson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Johnson misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Johnson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Wolf has escaped the position, nice work there.

Wolf takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Johnson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wolf knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Johnson swings around for an armbar but Wolf sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Johnson's guard.
Wolf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wolf is sitting in close to Johnson's body. Johnson has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wolf is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wolf is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Johnson.
