The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Da Rocha counters with a stiff right hand.
Wallace feints a jab promting Da Rocha to slip. Wallace then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Da Rocha slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Wallace avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Wallace is looking for a counter combo.
Nice cross by Da Rocha.
Da Rocha scores with a nice right hand.
Wallace looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wallace pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Da Rocha back to the cage. Wallace follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Wallace throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Da Rocha connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Da Rocha throws a nice looking combination but Wallace bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A decent looking cross lands there for Da Rocha.
Oh Wallace is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Da Rocha misses with an uppercut
and Wallace counters with a big right hand! Oh Da Rocha is in trouble here! Wallace follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
