These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xydddddddd misses with a wild body shot.
Novaskoshiak fails with the takedown
and Xydddddddd connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Xydddddddd changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Xydddddddd throws a head kick but Novaskoshiak moves out of range.
Novaskoshiak tries to counter by clinching up but Xydddddddd breaks away and moves out of range.
Novaskoshiak takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Xydddddddd digs a good hook to Novaskoshiak's body.
Xydddddddd throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Novaskoshiak seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Novaskoshiak doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Novaskoshiak is breathing heavily.

Xydddddddd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Xydddddddd lands with a kick to the temple. Novaskoshiak shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Xydddddddd throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Xydddddddd jabs Novaskoshiak to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Xydddddddd lands with a nice body punch.

Xydddddddd drops Novaskoshiak with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Novaskoshiak looks back up at him and smiles so Xydddddddd waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Oh Novaskoshiak is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Novaskoshiak switches off momentarily and Xydddddddd cracks him with a monster right hand! Novaskoshiak topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Xydddddddd dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Xydddddddd!
