Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between AA Guy (ranked 5978 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makin Fadel (ranked 5623 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Makin Fadel!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Guy with a flurry of punches that miss.
Fadel is trying to keep Guy in close.
Guy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Guy wants to control from the top but Fadel keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guy accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Guy working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Guy in particular looking to stall.
Fadel keeping hold of Guy's head, controlling as best he can.
Fadel has hold of Guy's hands but Guy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Guy content to control rather than advance.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Guy stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guy wants it to stay on the feet.
Guy throws a looping overhand right but Fadel ducks down to avoid it.

Fadel bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guy's guard.

Guy looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Guy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fadel can do to turn this around?

Fadel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Guy avoids it really well and circles away.
Makin Fadel is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Guy throws a lazy right hand but Fadel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fadel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Guy is fending him off so far but Fadel persists. Nope, Guy circles away and we're back to standing.
AA Guy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Makin Fadel.

Guy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fadel manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Guy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fadel on the ground.

Makin Fadel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Guy just misses with a punch to the body.
Fadel changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
AA Guy showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Guy has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
