Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Reem (ranked 5293 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zyd Xyddd (ranked 4949 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reem swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Xyddd takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Xyddd tries to move into range but Reem moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Reem blocks a head kick by Xyddd.
Reem cracks Xyddd with a good jab.
A punch lands to the side of Xyddd 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Xyddd ducks under a wild hook from Reem.
Xyddd throws an overhand right that lands on Reem's shoulder, as Reem tries to avoid the shot.
Xyddd lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Alistair Reem has been cut.
Xyddd with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Xyddd tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Xyddd uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reem.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Xyddd takes a swing at Reem's ribcage but misses.
Reem takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Reem throws a hook but Xyddd avoids it easily.
Reem moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromXyddd.
Xyddd lands a big uppercut and Reem crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Reem looks OK. Xyddd waves Reem back to his feet!
Reem is rocked!
Reem tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Xyddd was well out of range. Poor timing from Reem.
Oh Reem is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reem scores with a punch to the head.
Reem's corner calls for a 1-2. Reem obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Reem seems to have got his legs back now.
Reem on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Reem is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Xyddd drops Reem with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Reem! Xyddd dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zyd Xyddd!
