Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chet Mckenzie (ranked 24398 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leon El Loco (ranked 5439 p4p, 0 weight class). Leon El Loco will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
El Loco lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
El Loco shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mckenzie defends it nicely.

That was a close round but I would say that Chet Mckenzie will probably get the nod.

Leon El Loco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mckenzie crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from El Loco - the referee stops the clock and Mckenzie gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says El Loco. Mckenzie manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

El Loco breaks from the clinch.
El Loco tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mckenzie defends well and El Loco ends up having to push Mckenzie into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Mckenzie or perhaps it was just good defense by El Loco, which made it look bad.
Leon El Loco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mckenzie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mckenzie showed some decent athleticism there.
El Loco scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Mckenzie manages to mount him!

Mckenzie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
El Loco is trying to stand but he's just given Mckenzie his back.

El Loco is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mckenzie gets his way!
