Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fadel clinches up against the cage.

Lee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fadel clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Lee is persistently looking for the submission but Fadel is defending it well.
Lee is trying to stick to Fadel's back but Fadel is turning into Lee. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lee's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Fadel.
Fadel controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Fadel wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
Fadel wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fadel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fadel's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Fadel seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Lee fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Fadel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Fadel passes easily into side control. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee defending against the ground and pound.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Fadel tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fadel has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Fadel's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Fadel clinches up with Lee and pushes him back against the cage.

Lee has picked Fadel up - he's going for a ride! Lee dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Fadel wants to improve his position but Lee is controlling well.
Makin Fadel overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lee is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fadel defends it well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fadel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lee's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lee's back!

Fadel is working for a rear naked choke. Lee is not defending it well and Fadel has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lee refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lee's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
