The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Subicic feints and as Fitzgerald raises his hands in defense, Subicic changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fitzgerald wants to hit a switch here but Subicic passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Fitzgerald there!
Subicic tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fitzgerald wants to try and get back to his feet.
Fitzgerald is desperately trying to improve his position but Subicic has a good base and remains in mount.
Subicic with a couple of short strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Subicic pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Subicic looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Subicic cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Fitzgerald is rocked!

Subicic is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fitzgerald to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fitzgerald shrugs it off.
Oh Fitzgerald is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Subicic lands a big shot to the head and Fitzgerald winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
