Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Paul Gruel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davolee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Watts circles away quickly and effectively.
Davolee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Watts pinned against the cage. Watts gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Watts clinches with his opponent.
Watts is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Davolee pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Watts pulls Davolee into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davolee wants to get up but he can't break Watts's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davolee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Watts works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Watts knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Davolee on the ground.
Davolee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Davolee wants to pass the guard but Watts is keeping the position.
Watts being controlled here, momentarily.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
No luck for Watts with that takedown attempt.
Watts shoots in for a takedown but Davolee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jess Watts. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Davolee drives through and clinches with Watts against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Davolee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Watts closes the distance and pushes Davolee back into the cage.
Watts tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Davolee smiles and moves away.
Watts fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Davolee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Watts tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Davolee really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Watts.

Davolee has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Watts is in real trouble here. Davolee gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Watts is tapping out! Davolee wins by rear naked choke!
