The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden stuffs the takedown.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Durden.
Nice sprawl there from Durden as Rokuro shoots in.
Durden tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Durden lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Rokuro closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Durden pushes Rokuro off and gets back to his feet.
Rokuro checks a low kick from Durden.
Rokuro shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Durden as he jumps to the side.

Durden fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rokuro.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Rokuro is going olschool here, as he tries to force Durden to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Durden shrugs it off.

Rokuro is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Durden can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
