Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between White Hill (ranked 5353 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davion Motley (ranked 4206 p4p, 412 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, White Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Davion Motley!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill moves in looking to clinch but Motley pushes him off.
Hill tries to close the distance and clinch but Motley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Motley throws a counter combo.

Hill clinches up with Motley and pushes him back against the cage.
Hill fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hill stalling against the cage.
Hill will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Motley up against the cage.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Hill for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

and Motley counters with a single leg into guard. Hill didn't expect that.

Motley thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Motley wants to stand but Hill is controlling his posture from full guard.

Hill on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hill tries to get out of the position.

Hill has control of Motley's left arm, preventing Motley from doing any damage.
Hill wants to control but Motley passes easily into half guard.
Motley drops an elbow to the side of Hill's head.
Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Motley on the ground.

Hill is looking for a sweep. Motley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Motley seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hill does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Motley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Motley is taking a breather. Hill says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hill is trying to maintain the position but Motley is very close to passing his half guard.
Motley seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Motley is nestled in close to Hill, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Hill is defending against the submission attempts here by Motley.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Motley connects with a nice short shot to Hill's temple.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Davion Motley dominated that round.
That's time! Hill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Hill has managed to clinch.
Motley blocks an elbow strike.
Hill is trying to maintain a safe position but Motley gets an underhook and turns Hill into the cage.
Motley goes for a takedown attempt but Hill pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Motley has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Hill goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Hill is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Hill swings wildly with an uppercut but Motley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Motley has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Hill avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Motley has Hill pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hill manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
White Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davion Motley.

Motley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hill with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Motley arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Hill's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Davion Motley!
