Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cameron Castaneda (ranked 8213 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mayer Trodjan (ranked 5384 p4p, 460 weight class). Mayer Trodjan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trodjan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Castaneda working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Trodjan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Trodjan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Trodjan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Castaneda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trodjan has managed to get both his arms back between Castaneda's legs - danger averted.

Trodjan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Castaneda tries to avoid it but Trodjan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Castaneda to the ground. Castaneda escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
