Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sack Atanatos (ranked 5057 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hakeem Carter (ranked 6804 p4p, 0 weight class). Atanatos comes to the cage accompanied by till i die. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Hakeem Carter enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carter pushes Atanatos up against the cage in a clinch.
A short uppercut from Carter.
Carter blocks an uppercut.
Atanatos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carter walks away with a smile on his face. Atanatos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Carter misses with a leg kick
and Atanatos counters with a three punch combo that has Carter backing up. Carter nods at Atanatos to acknowledge the strikes.
Carter looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Atanatos is fending him off so far but Carter persists. Nope, Atanatos circles away and we're back to standing.
Atanatos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Carter clinches up against the cage.
Carter tries to work over Atanatos's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Atanatos is fighting to break Carter's control of his arms but Carter is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Atanatos decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Atanatos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Carter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Atanatos stalks Carter and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carter's face. Carter staggers backwards, shaken.

Hakeem Carter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Atanatos tries to avoid it but Carter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Atanatos to the ground. Atanatos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
