Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booningham bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gunn with a lazy takedown attempt
and Booningham counters with a right hand to the body.
Booningham definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Gunn throws a solid leg kick but Booningham takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gunn.
Gunn wants to clinch up but Booningham keeps it at a distance.
Booningham is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Booningham throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Booningham throws a big shot that misses.
Gunn fails with the takedown.
Booningham misses with the combination.
Gunn steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Booningham.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gunn misses with a hook to the body
and Booningham counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gunn thinking.
Booningham throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gunn counters with a left and a right that stings Booningham.
Gunn takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gunn moves out of range of the strikes.
Gunn forces Booningham back against the cage and clinches.

Gunn pivots, looking for a leg kick but Booningham is out of range and Gunn settles back down.
Gunn tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Booningham counters with a nice body shot.

Booningham lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gunn is rocked!
Gunn throws a head kick that misses.
Gunn on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Gunn is still on wobbly legs! Can Booningham finish him?
Booningham moves into range and connects with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A swing and a miss from Gunn.
Gunn fails with the takedown.
Gunn seems to have recovered his senses.
Daniel Booningham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimmy Gunn.
Booningham scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gunn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Gunn is looking to clinch but Booningham is avoiding it.

Gunn takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Booningham cracks Gunn with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Booningham has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gunn to stand back up!
Gunn darts in trying to clinch
and Booningham counters with a huge right that knocks Gunn out cold! Booningham is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daniel Booningham!
