Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Razor (ranked 4743 p4p, 324 weight class) and Marshall Matters (ranked 8265 p4p, 410 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oleg Razor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marshall Matters!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Razor tries to move into range but Matters moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Matters will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Razor fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Matters, pushing him back against the cage.
Razor dodges an elbow strike from Matters.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Matters will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Razor up against the cage.
Razor scores with an uppercut up the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Razor lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Matters is trying to break the clinch but Razor has him pressed against the cage.

Matters has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Matters has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Razor is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Matters throws a knee to the head but misses.

Razor jumps into guard, dragging Matters to the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Razor manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Matters manages to get himself to full guard.

Razor is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Razor seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Matters really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Razor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Matters preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Matters closes this distance looking for a takedown but Razor circles away.
Razor takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Matters will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Matters is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Razor pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Matters tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Matters is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Razor is defending well for now.

That's time! Razor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

No joy there for Razor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Matters shoots in looking for a takedown. Razor tries to sprawl out of it but Matters keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Razor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
As Matters tries to get set, Razor tries to push him back and clinch up but Matters manages to avoid the attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Matters.
Razor swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Matters tries to score a power double leg takedown but Razor sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Matters somewhat.

Matters tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Razor just stands there and leans against the cage.

Matters has Razor pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Razor manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Razor bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Matters's guard.

Razor stays in close to Matters's body and controls the position.
Matters wants to sweep but no luck.
Matters working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Razor.
Razor stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Matters swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Razor is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Matters looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Razor has picked Matters up and slammed him! Matters can't keep hold of the triangle and Razor manages to pass to side control!
Matters looking for a sweep but Razor has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Razor content just to control the position here.

Razor looking to finish Matters with some ground and pound. This is bad for Matters!
Razor takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The referee warns Matters that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Matters holds on for dear life.
Razor landing strikes from the mount and Matters is in trouble!
Razor connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Razor is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Matters is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Matters flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Razor anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Matters and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Razor slips an arm under Matters chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Razor has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Razor is squeezing on Matters like an anaconda would it's prey. Matters fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
