Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Leak (ranked 4389 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micke Wagner (ranked 7254 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leak scoring well with a low kick there.
A good leg kick by Leak.
Leak takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wagner throws a lazy body kick

so Leak counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Leak is looking to work some ground and pound but Wagner has wrist control.
Leak landing with the ground and pound.
Wagner looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Leak wants to control from the top but Wagner keeps moving.
Leak postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Leak is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Leak throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wagner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Leak is looking to work some ground and pound but Wagner has wrist control.

Wagner manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Leak throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wagner fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Leak on the side of the head.
Leak fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wagner avoids it really well and circles away.
Wagner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A punch lands to the side of Leak 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Leak avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Leak throws a nice looking combination but Wagner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wagner lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Leak misses with a hook.
Leak misses with a takedown attempt - Wagner sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Leak takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Wagner keeps the fight on the outside.
Leak fails with the takedown
and Wagner connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kelly Leak. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Leak is breathing heavily.
Wagner paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Wagner throws an uppercut from hell that sends Leak clean off his feet! He's out cold! Wagner stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
