And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bannon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bannon looks to land a combination but Manager avoids it well.

Bannon throws a hook to the side of Manager's head but Manager sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Manager really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bannon throws a lazy right hand but Manager sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bannon tries to bum rush Manager with a series of wild strikes but Manager uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bannon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Manager has him pressed against the cage.

Manager has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bannon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Manager is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bannon pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As Bannon tries to get set, Manager tries to push him back and clinch up but Bannon manages to avoid the attempt.

A close round but Steve Bannon will probably get the nod.

A looping hook to the body misses from Bannon. Manager does a little dance to reset his feet.
Manager closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bannon circles away.
Manager shoots for a double leg takedown but Bannon sprawls well. He's pushed Manager's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bannon looks to land a right hand but Manager moved out of range.
Bannon is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

and Manager counters with a three punch combo that has Bannon backing up. Bannon nods at Manager to acknowledge the strikes.
Bannon steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Manager. That one must have hurt.
Bannon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Manager was well out of range. Poor timing from Bannon.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manager takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Ultimate Manager has been cut.
Manager changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bannon tries to avoid it but Manager manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bannon to the ground. Bannon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ultimate Manager. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bannon throws a combination. Manager tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Oh Manager is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Manager throws a big counter combination but Bannon scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

It looked like Manager was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Manager seems to have got his legs back now.

Steve Bannon seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Steve Bannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Manager breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bannon throws a body shot but no joy.
Manager slips a straight right by Bannon.
Manager uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bannon.
Manager scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bannon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Steve Bannon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Manager's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Bannon dives in and grabs Manager's left leg, looking for a takedown. Manager pushes down on Bannon's head and hops out.

Bannon might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Bannon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Manager eats them both and turns towards Bannon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Bannon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bannon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bannon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Manager working for a triangle but Bannon defends it easily.
Bannon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Manager's head.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ultimate Manager.
I think Bannon has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
