Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daisy Killer (ranked 6916 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramelo Gracie (ranked 3241 p4p, 341 weight class). Daisy Killer looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Killer looks for a takedown but Gracie sprawls well.
Killer has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Good exchange - Gracie coming out on top.
Gracie throws a series of punches but Killer avoids them all with ease.
Gracie fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Killer misses with a takedown

and Gracie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Killer's guard.
Gracie lands a couple of digs.

Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Gracie working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Killer's head.
Killer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
Gracie chips away with some ground and pound.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but Killer is keeping the position.
Killer is breathing heavily.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Killer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Killer manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Killer's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Killer is keeping the position for now.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Killer has momentary wrist control but Gracie slips an elbow through the middle.

Gracie drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Gracie seems to have locked his on tight now - Killer screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Gracie, as he picks up the win!
