Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Fadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Louis Georgelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fadden's entrance music is Walk. A fine choice. Georgelin has chosen Estiva - Strawberry fields (Original mix) as his entrance music. Jean Louis Georgelin will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fadden throws a head kick that misses.

Fadden gets caught flat footed, as Georgelin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Georgelin drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fadden looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fadden looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fadden!
Georgelin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fadden wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Georgelin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fadden swats him away and circles back towards the center.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Georgelin is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fadden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Georgelin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Georgelin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fadden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Georgelin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Fadden throws a head kick but Georgelin moves out of range.
Fadden will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fadden changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Georgelin fights it off and pushes away nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fight stays on the outside here - Fadden looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Georgelin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fadden tries to avoid it but Georgelin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fadden to the ground. Fadden escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Georgelin closes the distance and clinches up with Fadden, looking for a takedown. Georgelin pushes Fadden against the cage but Fadden circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Georgelin shoots in but Fadden avoids the takedown attempt easily.
