Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Whitney Larsen (ranked 8177 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Priestly (ranked 21617 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Aaron Priestly!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larsen fails in his attempt to clinch.
Larsen tries to clinch but Priestly is having none of it.
Priestly changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Priestly lands with a right hand.
Larsen gets tackled into the cage by Priestly. Priestly maintains the clinch.
Larsen's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Priestly leaning his opponent against the cage.
Larsen unloads a knee to the mid-section.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Priestly lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Larsen backwards.
Priestly makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Larsen is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Priestly is keeping busy.

Larsen tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Priestly slows down the pace here.
Priestly softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Priestly lands a left hand that snaps the head of Larsen backwards.
Larsen is rocked!
A body shot lands from Priestly.
Oh Larsen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Priestly dips a shoulder and cracks Larsen with a mighty uppercut! Larsen falls back against the cage and Priestly unloads with a barrage of strikes! Larsen is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Priestly screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Priestly!
In his post fight interview, Aaron Priestly started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
