Akodo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Skip Marley - Lions. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akodo misses with a wild body shot.
Akodo digs a good body shot into Brandon's ribs.

Brandon closes the distance and clinches.
Brandon misses with a punch to the body.
A right handed body shot lands from Akodo.

Akodo breaks the clinch.
Akodo swats away the attempt to clinch by Brandon.
Akodo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Bubba Brandon has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brandon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Akodo as he jumps to the side.
It looked like Akodo wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Brandon misses with a leg kick.

Good work by Akodo as he checks the leg kick.
Akodo ducks right into an uppercut from Brandon.
Brandon tries to clinch there but Akodo circles away.

and Akodo counters with a nice right hand that sends Brandon toppling to the canvas! Brandon scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Akodo finish him?!

and Akodo scores with a counter punch that sends Brandon to the canvas! Akodo smells blood - he's punishing Brandon with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Brandon has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
