Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lon Horn (ranked 7453 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Harper (ranked 5502 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horn shoots for a takedown but Harper saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Harper.
Harper tries to score a power double leg takedown but Horn sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Harper somewhat.

Horn is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Harper can't fight it off and eventually Horn manages to take the fight to the floor. Harper looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Horn seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Horn closes the distance and clinches up with Harper, looking for a takedown. Horn pushes Harper against the cage but Harper circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Harper throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Horn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
