PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Noel Embiid (ranked 4086 p4p, 167 weight class) and Tyson Omega (ranked 8192 p4p, 227 weight class). Omega has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Tyson Omega will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Embiid shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Omega manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Embiid passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Embiid looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Embiid is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Omega is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Embiid takes a little break here. Omega wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Embiid working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Embiid has an Americana. Omega didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Embiid is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Embiid hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
