The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Pan is trying to work for a kimura but Horn is defending well.

Pan wants to work for an arm triangle but Horn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Horn keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Pan throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Horn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pan is trying to work for a kimura but Horn is defending well.

Horn makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Horn.
Horn is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Horn's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Pan wants to control from the top but Horn keeps moving.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Horn holds on and takes a little breather.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Pan sitting in guard, not really doing much.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Horn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pan as he avoids it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Horn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Horn somewhat.

Horn shoots in and drives through. Pan sprawls well.

A looping hook to the body misses from Pan. Horn does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Horn counters with a three punch combo that has Pan backing up. Pan nods at Horn to acknowledge the strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pan stays in close to Horn's body and controls the position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Pan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Horn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Horn controls Pan momentarily but Pan frees himself.

Pan dives in and grabs Horn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Horn pushes down on Pan's head and hops out.

Horn shoots in and bounces Pan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Horn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well Pan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
