Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between hillbilly george (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Brock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. Eddie Brock will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
george shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brock as he jumps to the side.
george is breathing heavily.
Nice straight punches there by Brock. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Brock.
Brock tries to close the distance and clinch but george swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Brock fails to land with a series of punches.
Brock throws a sloppy head kick and george moves out of range easily.

george tries to keep at a distance but Brock has taken the fight into the clinch.

Brock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

george closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - george lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
george is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

george feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
