The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Watson pinned against the cage. Watson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And Watson tries to counter it with a takedown but Banner pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Banner just misses with a punch to the body.

Watson dives in and scores a takedown into Banner's guard.
Watson is looking to work some ground and pound but Banner has wrist control.

Banner is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Banner connects with a nice short shot to Watson's temple.

Watson stands up over Banner, holding on to his feet. Watson throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Banner is out cold! Watson lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
