Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tirion Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Drake is out of range and Jackson settles back down.
Horrible takedown by Drake or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson which made him look bad.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Drake is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jackson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Drake.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Drake connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple.

Drake checks a leg kick.
Jackson stalks Drake and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Drake's face. Drake staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Bobby Drake has been cut.

Drake jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Jackson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Jackson and Drake has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
