PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Morillo (ranked 5300 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Stallion (ranked 5322 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harvey Stallion!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morillo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Stallion tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Morillo is in Stallion's guard.

Morillo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stallion's head.
Morillo uses his free foot to push down on Stallion's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stallion.

Stallion shoots for a double leg takedown but Morillo sprawls well. He's pushed Stallion's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Morillo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Morillo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stallion was covering up waiting for the punch and Morillo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Stallion dives in and grabs Morillo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morillo pushes down on Stallion's head and hops out.
