Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Denny White (ranked 5424 p4p, 477 weight class) and Adnan Honey (ranked 8298 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Honey does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
White attempts a counter takedown but Honey avoids it well and moves away.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Honey digs a good hook to White's body.

Adnan Honey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A nice inside leg kick there by Honey. That's going to slow White down.
Honey jabs White right on the nose. White blinks but takes it well.
White with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Honey to score with a decent uppercut.
Honey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck White on the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
White has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Honey wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Honey lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
White takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Honey shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. White eats them both and turns towards Honey to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Honey might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control White haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well Honey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
