Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howlin Wolf (ranked 209 p4p, 12 weight class) and Super Meat Boy (ranked 368 p4p, 22 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Howlin Wolf!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Super Meat Boy!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meat Boy takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Super Meat Boy has been cut.
Wolf misses with a jab to the body
enabling Meat Boy to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Howlin Wolf has been cut.
Wolf fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Meat Boy on the side of the head.
Wolf throws a hook to the side of Meat Boy's head but Meat Boy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Meat Boy misses with a lunging right hand
and Wolf counters with a nice leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from Meat Boy. No joy for Wolf on that attempt.
Meat Boy slips under a jab.
Meat Boy appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Wolf has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Meat Boy is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Meat Boy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Wolf is pulling down on Meat Boy's head. It's preventing any offense from Meat Boy, at least for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wolf is looking to sweep but instead, Meat Boy has passed into half guard.
Wolf wants to control but Meat Boy is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Wolf is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wolf looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wolf wants to control but Meat Boy is keeping busy.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wolf connects with a good right hand that stumbles Meat Boy. Meat Boy circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Wolf lands a slapping body shot.
Meat Boy ducks under a wild hook from Wolf.
Wolf swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Meat Boy looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Wolf misses with an uppercut.
A jab from Wolf misses.
A swing and a miss from Wolf.
Wolf throws a hook to the side of Meat Boy's head but Meat Boy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wolf throws a poor cross that misses
and Meat Boy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That has opened up Super Meat Boy's cut even more.
Wolf misses with a left hand
and Meat Boy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wolf's knee momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Howlin Wolf dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Wolf is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

and Meat Boy counters with a crisp one two that drops Wolf! Meat Boy thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Wolf to his feet! Wolf is in big trouble!
Wolf takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Meat Boy lands a jab to Wolf's midsection.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
