Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chubby Noel (ranked 3391 p4p, 418 weight class) and Andy Bangsit (ranked 1812 p4p, 256 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Chubby Noel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 2, fighting out of London, Andy Bangsit!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bangsit.
Noel looks to score with a jab to the body but Bangsit is just out of range.
Noel misses with a double jab

and Bangsit counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bangsit passes Noel's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bangsit thows a huge punch but Noel dodges it nicely.

Noel is defending against the submission attempts here by Bangsit.
Noel wants to control but Bangsit is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Noel blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bangsit.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bangsit looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bangsit is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Noel sees it coming and defends easily.

Bangsit is looking for submissions but instead, Noel has regained full guard.
Bangsit in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Noel has control of Bangsit's left arm, preventing Bangsit from doing any damage.
Bangsit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Noel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bangsit is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Noel utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Bangsit in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bangsit wants to pass the guard but Noel is keeping the position.
Bangsit keeps trying to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bangsit throws a big right hand that misses.
Noel can't keep his opponent in guard - Bangsit advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Bangsit seems to be looking for submissions.

Bangsit is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bangsit is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Noel is just riding it out for now. Bangsit eventually gives up the hold.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bangsit is working for a submission of some sort.
Noel is looking for a sweep. Bangsit is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bangsit throwing shots but Noel is blocking nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Noel keeping control of the position.

Bangsit is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andy Bangsit dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bangsit shoots in looking for a takedown. Noel tries to sprawl out of it but Bangsit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Noel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Noel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bangsit only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Noel gets off balance looking for a body kick

and Bangsit counters with a shoot takedown. Noel fights it but they end up in guard.
Noel is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Bangsit has gone for a leg lock! Noel slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bangsit's guard.

Bangsit has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bangsit has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Noel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bangsit wants to sweep here but Noel controlling him for the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bangsit has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Noel doesn't defend quickly enough and Bangsit has managed to lock this one up! Can Noel escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bangsit on a fantastic submission victory.
