Herring comes to the cage accompanied by Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face. Von Stauffenberg has chosen Wagner, The ride of the Valkyries as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Herring decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Von Stauffenberg is looking to improve his position.
Herring is keen to just control but Von Stauffenberg is a slippery customer.
Herring is taking a breather. Von Stauffenberg says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Von Stauffenberg can do anything to dispel that myth.
Von Stauffenberg is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Herring decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Von Stauffenberg comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Herring is breathing heavily.
Von Stauffenberg lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circling - Von Stauffenberg throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
No joy there for Von Stauffenberg, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Herring will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Von Stauffenberg tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Herring was well out of range. Poor timing from Von Stauffenberg.
Von Stauffenberg looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Herring really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Von Stauffenberg throws a series of punches but Herring moves out of range.
Von Stauffenberg throws a big shot that misses.
Herring tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Von Stauffenberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Von Stauffenberg is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Herring.
Von Stauffenberg misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Herring with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Von Stauffenberg to score with a decent uppercut.
Von Stauffenberg throws a lazy right hand but Herring sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Herring takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Herring staying out of range there.
Von Stauffenberg throws a right and a left that Herring avoids nicely.
Von Stauffenberg lands a slapping body shot.
Von Stauffenberg drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Herring right on the button. Herring goes down! Von Stauffenberg follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Von Stauffenberg gets the win via TKO!
