Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mini Stipe (ranked 420 p4p, 56 weight class) and Daniel Larusso (ranked 146 p4p, 23 weight class). Larusso has chosen Glory of love as his entrance music. Daniel Larusso has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mini Stipe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 44 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Larusso!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stipe comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Larusso tests Stipe's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Some bone on bone action there as Stipe checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Larusso avoids a punch combination nicely.
Larusso replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Stipe blocks it well.
Stipe fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Larusso manages to avoid it.
Stipe moves out of range of the body kick.
Larusso bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Stipe's head backwards.
Stipe with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Larusso to score with a decent uppercut.
Larusso moves out of range of the leg kick from Stipe.
Larusso punishes Stipe's body with a nice straight punch.
Stipe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Larusso stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Stipe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Talu's Boxing Club in the buildup to the fight.
Stipe uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Larusso.
Stipe changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Larusso paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Larusso lands with a slapping head kick.
Larusso has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Larusso slips a straight right by Stipe.
Despite the aggression on Larusso's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Stipe takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Stipe shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Larusso walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stipe checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Stipe attempts a counter takedown but Larusso avoids it well and moves away.
Larusso throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Stipe connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Stipe looks to land a left hand but Larusso moved out of range nicely.

Stipe tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Larusso has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Daniel Larusso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Larusso.

Stipe slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Larusso wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Stipe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Stipe crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Larusso - the referee stops the clock and Stipe gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Larusso. Stipe manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Larusso lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Stipe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Stipe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Larusso lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mini Stipe showed his dominance in that final round.
