Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Hunter (ranked 24922 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Neel (ranked 7397 p4p, 0 weight class). Nicholas Neel told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neel gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Hunter has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Neel uses from the top position.
Hunter pulls Neel in close to prevent any damage.
Neel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Neel must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hunter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neel wants to stand up but Hunter is controlling him.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Neel is on top in guard.

Neel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hunter swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Neel wants to control from the top but Hunter keeps moving.
Hunter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Hunter is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Neel is looking to advance position but Hunter has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
