Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sub Bot (ranked 4030 p4p, 380 weight class) and Brandon Boucher (ranked 5539 p4p, 474 weight class). Sub Bot had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Boucher misses.
A clash of legs there as Bot blocks the low kick.

Boucher dives in and scores a takedown into Bot's guard.

Bot escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boucher gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Boucher can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Boucher really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Boucher takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Boucher closes the distance and clinches up with Bot, looking for a takedown. Boucher pushes Bot against the cage but Bot circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Boucher seems to have recovered his senses.
Boucher keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Boucher gets caught napping as Bot dives in and scores a takedown. Boucher manages to retain guard.

Boucher has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Bot has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Bot is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Boucher is defending well.
Bot has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Boucher is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Bot. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Come on Boucher - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Horrible takedown attempt by Boucher or perhaps it was just good defense by Bot, which made it look bad.

Boucher stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Boucher pulls guard effortlessly.

Boucher pushes Bot off and scrambles back to his feet.

Bot shoots for a takedown but Boucher saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bot shoots in but no luck this time.
Boucher shoots in but Bot avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Bot dives in and grabs Boucher's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boucher pushes down on Bot's head and hops out.
Boucher tries to counter by closing the distance.
Boucher shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bot eats them both and turns towards Boucher to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bot throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boucher's waist but Boucher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bot off to one side.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Bot shoots in and drives through. Boucher sprawls well.

Bot darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Sub Bot overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bot winds up and cracks Boucher with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bot looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Boucher with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bot uses his free foot to push down on Boucher's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Boucher.

Bot is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Boucher to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Boucher shrugs it off.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

After winning the bout, Sub Bot thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
