Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jalaluddin Aziz (ranked 3332 p4p, 364 weight class) and Tiago Franco (ranked 2455 p4p, 0 weight class). Aziz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dalshar Project - Afghan Rastaman. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aziz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Franco looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Franco shoots and misses

and Aziz counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Aziz lands a nice uppercut.
Aziz lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Franco or not.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Aziz.
Franco has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Aziz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
I was talking to Aziz's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Franco tries to land a knee to the head but Aziz blocks with his arms.
Franco has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Aziz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Franco is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Aziz pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Franco is still on wobbly legs! Can Aziz finish him?
Aziz gets through Franco's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Aziz creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Franco's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Franco drops to his knees and Aziz pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
