The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Love fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Love dives in and grabs Jones Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones Jr pushes down on Love's head and hops out.
Love shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Love's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Long Love. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Love moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones Jr drops Love with a big knee straight up the middle! Love is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

It looks like Long Love has been cut.
Love tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones Jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Love somewhat.
Jones Jr is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Love takes an elbow to the temple.
Jones Jr unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Love is breathing heavily.
Jones Jr has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Love - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Jones Jr, and another! Love is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
